Crews Battle Grass Fire In Saguache County

Local fire departments are battling a grass fire near Crestone in Saguache County.

The Saguache County Sheriff’s Office says they are not sure how big the fire is at this time. The Sheriff’s Office tells us that every local fire department in the area is assisting in fighting the fire. As of 2:45 p.m., officials say there is no containment or control of the fire.

There are currently no structures threatened. The Sheriff’s Office says high winds in the area are causing the smoke to be very bad.
