Domestic Dispute Ends In Arrest

Colorado Springs police arrested a man after an altercation with a female.

It happened shortly before 11 Saturday night at the Shannon Glenn Apartments, said police.

When police arrived at the apartments on North Murray Boulevard, they found three men on the east side of the complex.

Police soon discovered one of the men, now identified as Hasani Cruise, had gotten into a physical fight with his ex-girlfriend.

The woman attempted to run from Cruise and he chased after her, police said.

Police tell us when Cruise caught up with the woman he forcefully took her apartment keys and cell phone.

Once again, she was able to get away from him and run off, police said.

Cruise then approached two men who were looking for the woman involved and got into a verbal argument with the men, police said.

The woman returned to the scene and suffered minor scratches and cuts. No medical treatment was needed but police did arrest Cruise.
