AFA Cadet Ordered To Face Court Martial
An Air Force Academy cadet says a cadet will face a court-martial in April over allegations he sexually assaulted a woman in the academy’s dorms.
Stephan H. Claxton will appear April 17th for the court-martial at the academy.
Claxton was among three cadets charged this year in separate sex assault cases.
Charges were dropped against Kyle Cressy, but commanders have yet to decide whether to send Robert Evenson to a court-martial.
A woman testified at a hearing in January that Claxton allegedly crept beside her while she slept in March 2011 and placed her hand on his private parts.
Prosecutors allege he also unzipped the pants of a woman who was passed out after a night of drinking in November.
