Man Robbed While Taking Out Trash

Colorado Springs are looking for a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint Monday morning.

A man was taking out his trash around 6:30 a.m. at the Tanger Meadow Apartments near Fountain and Murray. Police say the robber threatened the man with a semi-automatic handgun and took off with his wallet. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, about 5’11” with a medium build, and was wearing dark clothing. He fled in a southeast direction through the apartment complex. Police searched the area but could not find him.
