Bounty Hunter Searches For Woman Out On Bail

An El Paso County bounty hunter needs your help finding a fugitive on the run. He says she may be trying to con people in your area.

” She has a warrant in warrant in Larimer County, and all these failure to appears. She also has two more coming out of El Paso,” said the bounty hunter who wishes to remain anonymous. The bounty hunter is trying to track down Bridget Spangler. She is also known as Bridget Stern and Bridget Funkhouse.

” She has had ID theft, check fraud, and a bunch of other criminal cases on her record,” he said. According to the bounty hunter, she’s very convincing. ” She is very good at manipulating boyfriends. She goes from one to another in a heartbeat,” said the bounty hunter who wishes to remain anonymous.

” She was into animal rescue. She owned a kennel. She seemed like a reputable person,” said alleged con victim Mark Kennedy. Two days after Spangler was released on bail for fraud, she disappeared with Mark Kennedy’s uhaul truck.

“She said she couldn’t find her ID. So I went out and rented a Uhaul truck for her. She was supposed to turn it in that Sunday,” said Kennedy. He says the truck was never returned.

“I consider myself a fool for ever trusting her. I should have checked closer. I should have never given her the keys to that truck,” said Kennedy.

For him, this is a lesson learned the hard way. ” People are not always what they seem and a con artist is more persuasive because they work on it,” said Kennedy.

Some are concerned that the crimes that Spangler is being accused of, are getting worse. They are also concerned that the results of her actions could have dire effects. ” She’s going to make a mistake along the line, and she’s going to hurt somebody,” said the bounty hunter. He says one of those warrants for spangler is in El Paso County. Apparently, she was on a $6,000 bond, but apparently she missed her court date.

If you see Bridget Spangler-Funkhouse-Stern, it is recommended that you call your local law enforcement, 9-1-1, or White Tiger Bail Enforcement at 719-330-1952.
