Accident Causes I-25 Closure

The Northbound lanes of Interstate 25 have reopened after an accident on closed down the interstate just north of Monument Hill, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Colorado State patrol said a woman veered off the road and rolled her SUV at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The woman was the only person in the SUV at the time, and she was transported to the hospital, state troopers said.

According to officials, she was hurt, but is expected to survive.

CDOT said I-25 reopened at about 11:30 a.m.

State troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
