1 Person Arrested After Assault

Colorado Springs police arrested one person after an attempted stabbing at the Mill Hill Saloon.

Police tell KRDO Newschannel 13 that a man, who the victim identified at Eli Maes, approached another man on the dance floor. The victim tells police Maes was visibly upset but he couldn’t hear him because of the loud music. The victim says that’s why the two men went into the men’s room.

While in the men’s room, the victim tells police Maes pulled a knife and tried to stab him.

Police say the man was able to get away unharmed and run into the main bar area. When he got into the bar area, an unidentified man punched the victim in the face before leaving the saloon, police said.

Maes also left the saloon in a white SUV limousine, police say.

Police soon caught up with him and arrested him.
