Man Arrested After Rollover

One person is in the hospital and another behind bars after a rollover in Colorado Springs.

It happened a little after midnight at East Uintah Street and North Cascade Avenue. Officers say the car was heading west on Uintah when it hit the curb, then a sign and finally a tree.

Police say the passenger was seriously hurt but is expected to recover.

Officers arrested David Abeyta, 62, on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence, vehicular assault and careless driving.
