Engine Problem Grounds Springs American Airline Flight

A Colorado Springs flight didn’t take off due to an engine problem on Wednesday morning.

The America Airlines MD80 experienced an engine problem during the takeoff roll. The flight, 1204, was headed to Dallas. The pilot shut down the engine before the aircraft left the ground and exited the runway.

The plane had 130 passengers and 5 crew members on board. There were no injures in the incident.
