Police: Shots Fired Investigation Over At Immanuel Lutheran

Colorado Springs Police tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that they investigated a call about possible shots fired near Immanuel Lutheran Church on Monday afternoon.

Immanuel Lutheran is located in the 800 block of E Pikes Peak Ave near Hancock. Police say they searched the area but didn’t find any shell casings or an indication that there were shots fired. They say the investigation is officially over.

An Immanuel Lutheran secretary tells us they heard popping noises and called police. Cornerstone Cottage School is located inside the church. The church and school were both on lockdown while police investigated the report.
