CSPD Issues Sex Offender Alert

In accordance with state law, the Colorado Springs Police Department is notifying the community that sexually violent predator Rarlin Michael Barbin has moved to a new address.

The notification was issued Tuesday afternoon, after word that Barbin was moving to 410 Lakewood Circle.

Barbin was previously convicted of Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child in 2001.

He’s also a convicted pot dealer, and has failed previously to register as a sex offender.

In 1998, in Oakland County Michigan, he was convicted of Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, Less Than Murder and Escape.

Barbin is one of nine Sexually Violent Predators registered with the Colorado Springs Police Department.
