2 Arrested; Set Off Burglar Alarm

Two men are behind bars after setting off a burglary alarm.

Colorado Springs police arrested William Brookbank, 51, and Johsua Webb, 41, Monday night. Officers say the two broke into a business on Elkton Drive that was being renovated at around 8:30 p.m. The construction company activated security cameras when the alarm went off, and spotted a man inside the business, watching him move around inside. Police surrounded the building and found a second man. When they tried to leave through a window in the back police officers arrested them.

Police say the two were carrying several tools used to break in to buildings. They were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
