El Paso County Wildfire Contained
A wildfire that was burning on Whittemore Road south of Myers Road in El Paso County Sunday is now contained.
The Edison fire department says the fire burned 80 acres and is currently. Crews are still on scene mopping up hot spots and watching to make sure the fire doesn’t flare back up.
1 vacant home was destroyed, and at least 2 outbuildings were damaged.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
