Broncos’ Elway, Fox Arrive In NC To See Manning

KMGH is reporting that Peyton Manning will workout for the Denver Broncos on Friday in North Carolina.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Executive Vice-President John Elway, head coach John Fox, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy, quarterback coach Adam Gase, general manager Brian Xanders and a medical team are flying to Raleigh to see Manning.

The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback has been working out at a facility at Duke University in North Carolina.

KMGH reports that Manning has told teams he was willing to let them observe a workout before he signed a contract.

KMGH also reported that this does not mean the Broncos are signing Manning, but it does mean they are certainly among the leading contenders.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter also reported that this does not make the Broncos the front runner in the Manning Sweepstakes.
