UPDATE: Southbound I-25 Reopened Near Larkspur

An accident closed southbound I-25 for a short time near Larkspur on Thursday morning.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the injuries of those involved in the accident are minor. Traffic was diverted off Greenland Rd during the closure.

A witness tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a car switched lanes and clipped the right front of a semi truck. The car then spun around and was almost hit by another semi truck. The witness tells us there are major delays in the area.
