UPDATE: Missing Mother Found Inside RV

The family of Amber Morrison tells KRDO Newschannel 13 her body was found inside an RV last Thursday.

On Thursday, investigators said the body was that of a woman and was found in the 500 block of Iowa Avenue in an RV. The RV is parked outside of a home.

Police say the body was found after 10:00 a.m. Thursday and she has no relation to the home. They do not think the death is suspicious and said there were no signs of trauma.

A family friend said the family was contacted Thursday afternoon and told the body was that of Amber Morrison, 25.

She has been missing since February 16. Morrison borrowed her mother’s truck to go to a doctor’s appointment and never returned, according to a family friend.

Morrison leaves behind a 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter.

A memorial fund has been set up to help the family pay for funeral expenses and to help support Morrison’s children.
