Teen Found After Being Kidnapped

Colorado Springs police have arrested two men accused of kidnapping a 16-year-old girl.

Police said it started with a disturbance in the area of Early Sun Drive and Chelton Road at about 3 a.m. Sunday.

Officials said the investigation revealed that the teen had been kidnapped and may have been endangered. Police found the suspects car in the parking lot of the Pine Creek Apartments on the 800 block of Chapman Drive.

Investigators said they learned one of the suspects had left with the victim on foot.

Police said they found the victim around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

She had minor injuries, officials said.

Police arrested Miguel Jimenez, 25, on kidnapping charges. Alan Mendoza-para, 19, was also arrested on charges of accessory to kidnapping, according to officials.
