Fire Destroys Pueblo County Home

A Pueblo County home was completely destroyed after a fire.

Pueblo County officials said the fire sparked at 7016 Burnt Mill Road at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Two people were at home at the time of the fire and were able to get out safely, officials said.

It’s not clear what caused the fire.

The home is in a area of the county that does not have a designated fire department. Volunteers firefighters responded to the fire. They were able to keep it from spreading, but could not save the home, officials said.
