KRDO’s Ellie Elefante wants to send YOU to the zoo!
Each local station worked hard to decorate an elephant bank for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s “Bank On It” Channel Picasso contest. Now, it’s up to you to pick your favorite one.
KRDO’s Ellie Elefante is reporting live in front of the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for the grand opening of the Encounter Africa exhibit. And she wants to send you to a behind-the-scenes tour of the exhibit!
When online voting concludes on Wednesday, March 7, the television station?s elephant bank with the most votes will be declared the winner.
The winning station will select 12 viewers to participate in a guided behind-the-scenes elephant experience at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! If we win, we will host a contest on KRDO.com to give you a chance to win tickets.
The experience includes interaction with an elephant keeper, a tour of the new elephant barn, which is not yet open to the public, and a meet and greet with one or more of Cheyenne Mountain Zoo?s African elephants!
