15-Year-Old Arrested After Threatening Grandmother

A 15-year-old is in custody after his grandmother told police he threatened her with a gun.

Colorado Springs police tell us the grandmother reported her grandson had been terrorizing her for several hours.

Officers say it happened on Squaw Valley Drive around 2 a.m. Monday.

That’s near Union and Vickers.

Police say the 77-year-old woman was not injured.

Officers say the reported gun turned out to be a plastic toy.

The boy and the grandmother were not identified.
