Man Hits a 6th Walgreens In Robbery String

Colorado Springs police are responded to a robbery at the Walgreens on Rangewood Drive and Woodmen Road.

Police said it happened at about 2:45 p.m. Saturday.

An employee told police it was the same suspect who robbed the pharmacy before.

Police said the suspect handed the clerk a note telling him he had a gun and demanding prescription drugs. The clerk didn’t see a gun, but handed over his demands, and the man ran from the scene, according to investigators.

This latest robbery is similar to a string of five other robberies.

Police said the suspect in the string of pharmacy robberies is a light skinned ethnic man, about five feet, seven inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.

If you have any information, police would like you to call them at 444-7000.
