A man was arrested early Friday morning in Colorado Springs for firing shots while he was driving.

A witness called police to report that a driver was shooting his gun into the air in the 600 block of Bryce Dr.

Police were able to catch up with 33-year-old Nicholas Fernandez in the 500 block of Yellowstone. A handgun was found in Fernandez’ vehicle and shell casings were found in the street and on the roof of his vehicle.
