Human Resources Coordinator

NewsChannel 13, in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, located on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies, is looking for an HR Coordinator to be the primary contact for Human Resource needs and serve as liaison between corporate HR and employees at KRDO and KJCT.

Job Description: HR Coordinator duties include but are not limited to: interpreting company policies for employees and managers; benefits administration; aiding employees with benefits issues; developing and implementing documents to communicate HR information and changes; ensuring that appropriate reward and recognition programs are in place; tracking attendance and communicating Paid Time Off (PTO) policy; creating and maintaining accurate job descriptions; coordinating safety efforts in the station and maintaining documentation for workplace injuries; performing new hire orientations and exit interviews; and maintaining and tracking pay data on employees.

Requirements: Degree in Human Resources, Management or Business Administration, extensive Human Resources experience, or a combination of training and experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. Working knowledge of computers, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office, solid written and verbal communications skills, detail oriented and very organized is required. Some travel is required.
