Fremont County Man Sentenced For Sex Assault Charges

A Penrose man was sentenced Friday afternoon in a Fremont County Court.

The Fremont County District Attorney tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that David Lee Daniels was sentenced to 8 years to life in prison with 20 years to life on parole for two separate charges. Those charges are one count of sex assault on a child-pattern of abuse and 3 counts of sex assault on a child by a person in a position of trust. Daniels was also sentenced to 6 years to life with 10 years to life on parole for three counts of sex assault on a child.

All three of his sentences will be served consecutively.
