Jury Now Deliberating Farries’ Case

The case against a woman accused of dragging a tow truck driver to his death, is now in the hands of the jury.

Closing arguments in the Detra Farries’ trial were Thursday in an El Paso County courtroom.

The jury got the case late Thursday afternoon.

Farries claims she had no idea tow truck driver, Allen Rose, was being dragged behind her SUV on February 23, 2011 outside the Park Hill Apartments near Platte Avenue and Murray Boulevard.

Farries says she never heard screaming or yelling from anyone.

Farries is facing 11 counts, including leaving the scene of a deadly accident and vehicular homicide.
