Teen Critically Hurt Trying To Jump On Car Hood

A teenager was critically injured in what appears to have been a terrible accident at Palmer Park Tuesday night.

Police say a group of four teens was driving a vehicle in a parking lot when one of them tried to jump onto the hood of the car while it was moving.

The teen fell from the car and hit his head on the pavement. He suffered a serious head injury and was taken to the hospital.

Police say careless driving charges are likely in this case.
