A man convicted of 2nd degree murder in the July 2010 death of Franklin Chandler was sentenced on Wednesday.

Emilio Ruiz was sentenced to 48 years in prison for a 2nd degree murder charge and 10 years for a charge of aggravated robbery. A judge ordered that he will serve his sentences consecutively.
