Pueblo Home Sprayed With Bullets, Tagged With Graffiti
Early Friday morning, a home in the 1800 block of Jerry Murphy Road in Pueblo was sprayed by bullets and tagged with graffiti.
The incident has left the homeowners shaken.
“I don’t fall asleep until four or five in the morning… I’m getting up every half an hour to check out area,” said homeowner Michael Amayo.
“It just doesn’t make any sense, who could do that to us,” said Amayo.
Amayo believes it has something to do with a fight awhile back that he wasn’t involved in. “There was an incident here last year, escalated from the street to where the mustang is… But it had nothing to do with us,” he said.
Pueblo Police confirm they are following up on an incident in 2010 that they believe may be connected.
Police said witnesses reported hearing between five and nine gun shots. Six shell casings were found in front of the home.
In addition to the house being sprayed by graffiti, vandals also tagged two vehicles and the car port.
No arrests have been made.
