Pizza Delivery Man Robbed

Colorado Springs police are searching for a robber.

Police say a pizza delivery driver had just dropped off a pizza at an address in the 2900 block of E Fountain Boulevard just before 9 p.m. Friday. Someone knocked him down, making him drop the money. The robber grabbed the money off the ground and ran to a waiting car which headed south on Shasta Drive.

The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties about 6 feet tall and 225 pounds. Police say he was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a hat. The suspect vehicle is an older maroon Cadillac with a torn vinyl roof.

No one was hurt and officers say there was no visible weapon and the robber did not say he was armed.
