I joined the NEWSCHANNEL 13 team in August 2011 as the Digital Content Director. I’m the face behind KRDO.com, and KRDO’s Facebook and Twitter. You’ll also see me reporting on technology stories during the week.

Born and raised in Bath, Ohio, I grew up with a love for writing. I double-majored in Broadcast Journalism and Vocal Performance at American University in Washington, D.C. While in D.C., I worked on a councilman’s reelection campaign and interned at Celebrity Service International where I helped launch their new website. Working at American University’s “District Wire News,” I quickly learned that the fast-paced newsroom is where I belong.

After graduation, I decided to pursue Meteorology. And what better place than Colorado?! I am currently working towards that goal and consider myself a weather geek!

Outside the newsroom, I enjoy singing, playing the piano, cooking, and being outdoors. My family is from Iran, and I am very proud of my Persian heritage.
