Robber Strikes At Lingerie Store

A South Academy shop that specializes in lingerie and other adult items was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.

The robbery happened just minutes before 9:00pm, at the Cristal’s on 2582 S. Academy.

Witnesses tell police the man had a small revolver, and was wearing a black ski mask.

They describe him as a white male with green eyes and a thin build.

He ran out of the store after getting a small amount of money. Early reports indicate that a customer may have had their hand injured by the robber as he rushed out of the store.

Robbery detectives and K-9 units were on scene just minutes after the robbery.
