UPDATE: Man With Alzheimers Found Safe

A missing at-risk adult was found safe Wednesday morning.

69-year-old Jesus Juarez suffers from Alzheimers disease and hadn’t been seen since Monday. Family members say he left home around 4:00 p.m. and never returned.

On Wednesday morning, someone called police saying they saw Juarez Tuesday night near the Cheyenne Mtn Resort. Another person reported that Juarez was at the Safeway on Nevada Ave. Officers responded and found Juarez in good condition. He returned safely to his family.

Area hospitals, fire stations, liquor stores, Detox and The New Hope Center were checked during the search.
