“Sexting” Investigation At Chaparral High School
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating allegations of students “sexting” at Chaparral High School.
On Tuesday the Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the school and took four cell phones that were allegedly involved in receiving or sending pictures of a student. The Sheriff’s Office says the goal was to protect the victim by stopping the pictures from going viral.
At this time no charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.
The Sheriff’s Office says only students were involved in the matter. The situation was brought to their attention by the School Resource Officer.
The investigation is ongoing. Stay tuned to KRDO.com and NewsChannel 13 for updates.
