Game Stop Robbed
An armed robber is on the run this morning.
Colorado Springs police say a man went into the Game stop on North Academy Boulevard at around 8:45 p.m. Saturday with a handgun. He forced two employees to empty the cash register and safe, forcing them to lay down on the floor. Officers say he got away with an unknown amount of cash. A K-9 unit tracked him for several blocks, but lost the scent.
He’s described as a black man in his late 20s, 5’5″ to 5’9″ with a heavy build.
No injuries are reported.
