Prescription Drug Investigation At Sand Creek High School

A parent claims students at Sand Creek High School are taking and selling prescription drugs.

The parent walked into Sand Creek High School on Wednesday morning with a bag of prescription drugs, according to a district 49 spokeswoman.

The parent told administrators that he believed the drugs were being distributed at the high school.

The Colorado Springs Police Department was called in to investigate.

A search was conducted and students were interviewed.

No arrests have been made and no additional drugs have been found.

The investigation is on-going.
