Two Arrested After Shooting in Springs

Two suspects are under arrest after a bar shooting in the Springs.

Colorado Springs police say it happened a little after midnight at Belle’s Lounge on 19th Street near Uintah.

Police say there was a fight in the bar before they got the call.

Officers tell us two men had hit another bar patron several times, causing minor injuries.

The two men were thrown out of the bar, then one said he was going to get a gun, and both left the area.

A short time later, police say Keenan Miller returned to the scene, standing across the street and firing one shot at the patrons outside the bar.

Police say nobody was hurt.

Officers tell us Miller then fled from the scene in a silver vehicle driven by Mario Raxon.

Police were on scene investigating the incident when they say Mr. Raxon and Mr. Miller drove past the bar in the silver vehicle, and were contacted and taken into custody.

Both were transported to CJC and booked in on charges of Criminal Attempt 1st Degree Murder, Conspiracy and 3rd Degree Assault.
