Mobile Home Fire Displaces Nine In Canon City

A family has been displaced after a fire at their Canon City home.

Firefighters were dispatched to the fire in the 200 block of South Reynolds Ave. around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, they could see flames and smoke coming from the mobile home.

Two adults and two children were able to get out of the home safely.

Fire crews are still investigating what may have sparked the flames. The home has been deemed a total loss.

Five adults and four children live in the home. The Red Cross and Canon City Fire Department are assisting the family with their immediate needs.
