Business Burglary Suspect Arrested Near Florence

Authorities have arrested a suspect who robbed a business near Florence Tuesday afternoon.

Fremont County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to two different addresses in the Florence area on reports of a theft of a 4-wheeler among other items.

Deputies spotted the stolen 4-wheeler in Florence and later identified the driver as 35-year-old James Cain. Cain led deputies and the Florence Police Officers on a pursuit that ending South of Florence in the Williamsburg area.

Cain ditched the 4-wheeler and led authorities on a foot pursuit which led to the reverse 911 system to be activated for the residents in that area to be on the lookout for Mr. Cain.

Cain was found in the Florence area and taken into custody without incident.

Cain is being charged with Burglary, Theft, Aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft, Driving under Revocation, Felony Eluding, and Reckless Driving. He is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
