10 Year Old Missing In Fremont County

Fremont County Sheriff’s Deputies are trying to find a little girl who went missing Sunday.

The 10 year old girl was reported missing around 3:30 Sunday afternoon from the Copper Gulch area west of Caon City.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office says the girl, named Sidney Peet, was last seen around 8 a.m. when she went outside to play.

Sidney may be trying to get to her grandparents home in Grand Junction.

Sidney is described as 4?6?, with short, dark brown hair, and brown eyes. She was possibly wearing a black snowsuit over red pajamas.

Sidney may also be wearing a pink hat, pink sneakers, and carrying a pink bag filled with dolls.

She was last seen in the area of “L” Path and 24th Trail.

Fremont County Search and Rescue has been called in to help look for Sidney.
