Deputy Chief Of Staff Resigns From City

City of Colorado Springs Deputy Chief of Staff, Nancy Johnson, announced Friday that she will resign.

Johnson has been with the City for three and a half years and has spent three decades working in municipal government.

She was initially hired as one of two Assistant City Managers and has also worked with the Economic Development, Planning, Public Works, and Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Departments as well as the Parking Enterprise.

Her resignation will be affective starting March 2nd. No reason has been released for her resignation. The City will be working on a transition plan in the weeks ahead for the departments which directly report to her.
