Police Are Investigating Deadly Crash

The eastbound lands of the Highway 50 Bypass at Hudson Avenue were closed for a few hours last night after a car slammed into a pedestrian, killing him.

Pueblo police say just before 8 p.m. Thursday they found a 48-year-old man lying on the ground. He was taken to Parkview Hospital where he died. Officers say a 39-year-old Pueblo woman was driving the car that slammed into the man who was walking southbound across the Bypass.

Police aren’t releasing either name at this time, and there is no word on possible charges. Traffic officers are still investigating.
