UPDATE: Phone Service Restored To El Paso County Offices

Late Thursday afternoon telephone services were restored to County Offices in Centennial Hall which were without phone service most of the day.

Century Link and Cisco Systems engineers have been working alongside County Information Technology staff to isolate the problem and restore service to all affected numbers.

County Offices in the Citizens Service Center, including the Department of Human Services and the Offices of the County Treasurer, County Assessor and Clerk and Recorder as well as facilities of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center and El Paso County Public Health were affected by the outage as well as the County Administration, County Attorney, Budget and Finance, Economic Development and Public Information Offices which are now located in Centennial Hall.

No emergency services numbers were affected by the outage and normal operations are expected when all County Offices open tomorrow.
