2 Dead, 2 Injured In Shooting At Springs Apartment Complex

Colorado Springs police have released a description of a suspect and suspect vehicle in the Timberlane Apartments shooting.

Police are looking for 20-year-old Alonzo Paige in connection with the shooting.

The suspect vehicle is described as a mid-90’s black or green Cadillac sedan with 10 to 12 inch wide racing stripes over the hood and trunk; it may also have a lot of dents.

The rear window may also be broken.

Officers say there may have been 2 men in the car.

The shooting happened just before 4:30 Tuesday morning at the Timberlane Apartments in the 3900 block of East Bijou Street; just east of North Academy.

“I was laying in bed this morning when I heard 4-5 gun shots. I walked outside and heard lots of screaming and saw at least 2 bodies laying on the ground,” according to Catherine Skrinak who witnessed the aftermath.

Police say 2 others were injured with gunshot wounds and have been transported to a local hospital.

No suspects are in custody at this time. Police say investigators have received several reports of many different vehicles being at the scene and are trying to determine which one(s) may been been involved in the shootings and which ones just fled the scene following the shootings.
