Highway 24 Back Open After Investigating Suspicious Device

Colorado Springs Police have reopened Highway 24 after investigating a suspicious device in the median.

Highway 24 was closed both directions between 8th street and 21st street for a short time Sunday afternoon.

Officials said the suspicious device turned out to be a toy.
