Clearing The Air

A clear the air meeting between Colorado Springs City Council and Mayor Steve Bach, Wednesday morning. A facebook post helped spur some of the conversation. District Three Council Member Lisa Czelatdko felt she and council members had restricted access to information from city staff.

That included no access to departmental emails or direct access to city workers. After the meeting, Czelatdko said that to me, “What I’ve gotten from the meeting is that the mayor has agreed to make sure that we are getting information requested and info from city staff.”

Mayor Bach told me, “We are going to make our communication better as a result of this conversation.”
