Soldier Found Dead In Barracks Had Stab Wounds
Army Criminal Investigation Division spokesman Chris Grey says a soldier found dead in her barracks was found with stab wounds.
Grey adds that the exact cause and manner of death will be released at another time and the investigation is ongoing. The stab wounds have not been named as the official cause of death.
28-year-old Brandy Fonteneaux’s death is being investigated as a homicide. She was found dead in a Fort Carson barracks on Jan. 8th.
Grey confirms that an autopsy has been completed but the results have not been released.
No one has been arrested in connection with Fonteneaux’s death.
