Couple Accused Of Killing Woman’s Ex Plead Not Guilty
A couple accused of a fake home invasion and murder appeared in court Tuesday.
According to arrest records, 48-year-old Mark Manyik and 47-year-old Traci Adams confessed to luring the victim to their home, then calling 911 to say it was a home invasion.
Adams and Manyik both pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated robbery, and tampering with physical evidence.
The victim is Adams’ ex-boyfriend Robert Miles.
Detectives say Adams called Miles 16 times the night he died; they say the last time they spoke was minutes before Miles was shot.
Detectives say Adams and Manyik admitted to getting rid of Miles’ cell phone.
