Police Search For Man Who Robbed 3 Pueblo Banks
Pueblo police are looking for a man they said robbed three banks in one week.
The suspect, called “brazen” by police, has not concealed his face during the robberies. He’s a thin white man who’s about 5’5 with light hair, a scar on his face and an earring.
Police said the man robbed Vectra Bank on Highway 50 just after 3 p.m. Friday. They said on Thursday he robbed Ent Federal Credit Union on 5th Street and on Monday, Sunflower Bank on Pueblo Boulevard. They said these robberies are not related to the US Bank robbery that happened on Jan. 5th.
Police said in each of the incidents the man calmly walked into the bank and handed the teller a threatening note. he brought a black back pack to transport the cash.
Police said bank employees across the city are on edge.
“The tellers are very scared, all the banks are on alert,” said Sgt. Ken Espinoza.
