Plan To Boycott Girl Scout Cookies

Girl Scout cookies are coming with a side of controversy this year.

A few months ago a Colorado boy, Bobby Montoya, asked to join the scouts and was eventually permitted to. He chose not to join a troop but the California-based group Honest Girl Scouts says transgender scouts are more common than you think, and wants you to boycott the cookies.

Girl Scouts of Colorado says they aren’t surprised that someone might try to use girl scout cookies as a means to promote an agenda. They say it comes down to the cookies being such a recognizable, iconic brand.
