Attempted Armed Robbery Of Sierra High School Student

A Sierra High School student was approached by a suspect who tried to rob him Friday morning.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Jet Wing Dr. The student was on his way to school when he was approached by a man with a handgun.

The suspect demanded the student’s wallet and jacket. The student refused and the suspect ran away. Nothing was taken from the student.

The student was not injured and there are no known witnesses.

The suspect is described as black, 5’8″, with a thin build, a moustache and goatee. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, loose-fitted gray sweatpants and black shoes. The suspect was not located. A Sierra High School Resource Officer was notified.
